'The Purple Forest'
This painting has been created using a substrate of torn papers which have been painted onto with acrylic paints to give a colourful impression of a winding path through a purple forest.
Painted on a canvas board 12" x 12", the textured surface has been achieved using a palette knife and the finished picture has been given a coat of archival lacquer to enhance the colours and protect from fading.
On the back, I have attached a hanger for immediate display.
